Most of the photos on this site were created with Nikon digital cameras and lenses. Primarily, Nikon D810, D5, D3S, D4S, D7000, or D800 SLR camera bodies were used with a variety of Nikon lenses. The photos have been reduced in resolution for viewing on the web.
Many of the sailing photographs on this site were taken at racing events on the Eastern Shore -- mostly in the Oxford and St. Michaels areas at events hosted by the Tred Avon Yacht Club and the Miles River Yacht Club. Wildlife and nature photos were taken in a variety of areas, including Bucks, Tioga and Potter Counties in Pennsylvania, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Nova Scotia, the Great Smokey Mountains, the Shenandoah National Forest, Napa Valley in California, Portland, OR., Acadia National Park and the coast of Maine, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Florida Gulf Coast, the Intra-Coastal Waterway, the Florida Keys - and of course - Cuba.
